Asics: Emperor Indigo White Emperor is based off the Emperor Golf shoe range developed by Onitsuka Tiger in the 1970's. It has a rounded and slightly pointed silhouette inspired by the classic golf shoe. The upper is made from several pieces for added reinforcement and features perforations for a particularly casual look. The wedge sole makes for a sportier image and improves cushioning and stability, while the slit-cut outsole improves grip.
